You must be kidding griping about time restrictions on a "FREE" service..

Well, besides Juno and Netzero
there is
Bluelignt
DotNow
FreeLane

several others out there.

Go to your fav search engine and type in

"free internet service"

and wade through the muck till you find ones
that serve your area..

btw, AT&T offers an almost free service for $4.95 a month, 150 hrs.

Hi, LiLRiceBoi,

Just to let you know... I have Juno and have no time restriction. I'm on probably 200 or so hours a month, so it's not like I've just not hit the limit or something.

BTW, I've heard nothing but good things about K-Mart's BlueLight internet service, so I would suggest that you try them out.

NetZero, though quite obviously the most advertised, is probably the worst of them out there, so stay away from it!

I think Excite stopped offering FreeLane a little while ago, though I could be mistaken. I've heard both good and bad comments about it. I've heard that connection is a good speed, but you get bumped off every so often. Also, a few busy signals, though if you've ever used AOL, then you wouldn't be complaining about this.

There are a multitude of choices out there, and like the good Doctor said, just do a little search and wade through the choices.

Good luck finding one that works for you!

ablang: good post. =) address.com has
no banner ads, instead has full screen
ads lasting 7 seconds! WOW, what a great idea, im sick of those banner ads blocking
my back, forward, favorite, etc, buttons.
thanx, ablang.
PS - the last time i checked bluelight
it was down.

BTW, I am dumping juno because it is down so often, it rivals aol in unreliability.

Ummmmmmmm, excuse me, but how much is an ISP anyway? What, $10-$15 a month?

You yanks are lucky you don`t have to pay for the call charges too! We do in the UK, and it costs 4c a min between 8am and 6pm, and 1c a min between 6pm and 8am. Weekends are Fri-6pm to Mon-8am, 1c a min.

For the time I was online, it was around £180-£200 a MONTH!, That`s abot $220-$260 a month for you!

YOU ARE LUCKY IN THE US! UNDERSTAND THAT, DO NOT FEEL YOU ARE BEING CHEATED!

Ok, Now I`ve got Cable, which is £33 a month, about $45 a month for you. Still, YOUR LUCKY!
