how to get a audio cd recorder to write cdrs !!!

he dudes one question a friend of mine has a phillips audio cd recorder and it will only
write on expensive audio cdrs !
when he put in a audio cdr and afer a few seconds he pulls that cd out (without ejecting it with the buttons )and put a normal cdr in it it will write it just like a
real audio cdr anyone nows a trick with some
chips or other stuff so he can just use
normal cdrs ???

..uh...Arent Audio CD-r's and data CD-r's one in the same? I use the same $1.50 US a piece CD-r's for both

no they are not.. they have special ones now.. I saw them I work at a cd backup place.. I know what this guys talking about.. first of all take your cd r outta your dup machine and put it in your computer. second find out what kinda drive it is.. if its a mit****a then its a panasonic.. (I think I saw one of these things that was 4 x panasonic) well.. n e ways you gotta use your computer I think to make it do them other cds. I think that music box just does music.. ANd needs them speical cds.. gay I know. but thats all i know so far..
