I am goin to be replacing my Asus V7700 32MB for the best card I can get? This card has worked great but these newer games, it just can't handle. I am a gamer so I want a card that is well known and compatible with most (hopefully all) games and can look good at the same time. Everyones suggestions are welcome as for which is the fastest and best looking graphics card in gaming? Games I play; UT, Black Hawk Down, Americas Army (using UNREAL engine) , and soon Warcraft III and UT2003. Thanks to all who read.

Is the Radeon 9700 faster than the 8500? The 9700 seems to have a lot more rendering techniques and than the 8500. So the Radeon 9700 does look promising. Do you know how fast the GPU's core speed and memory throughput is?

I have heard more people in favor of the Geforce 4 Ti 4600. Is the Radeon new and better?

do a search for 9700 in this forum, you'll find the opposite, and there is 2 review that proves 9700 better than 4600

And check out the 128 bit colors!!
(a small quote from the whole article)
"The 128-bit internal color range will allow for a much wider dynamic range for colors."
