CujoRbd 02-15-2001, 10:32 PM Hi, Alondra, Did you have the 5 1/4" drive set up as master, with the 3 1/2" as the slave? This would probably cause it to show up in My Comp, but would not show the useage of a driver in Device Mangler. I'm not sure what else it could be... If you haven't already, maybe try removing the floppy from the Dev Mangler and restarting your computer. This will redetect your floppy and it should then only show up as one in My Comp. Well, good luck with this! (BTW, what type of burner did you get?) Cujo alondra 02-15-2001, 10:35 PM golly that was fast http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif checked , shows only a drive and boot is c,cdrom,a I can live with it, just not click it, am concerned it might cause glitches some where else. cujo. Sony 8X, driving me nuts learning to use it. see my thread on it. . the 5 1/2 was slave, may try what you say delete the floppy, and re find it.
