I wonder whats taking them. Need to download my motherboard manual! I don't need losers on a powertrip to waste my time. jad1097 02-14-2001, 02:30 PM http://www.asus.com.tw is still open CujoRbd 02-14-2001, 02:41 PM That sucks... I hope they get it up pretty soon here. That actually reminds me of something I saw one MS Winders Update (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/) . Go there, and on the left navigation panel, click on the "hardware support" link. It's pretty funny what the site is... Cujo RobRich 02-14-2001, 06:15 PM Forget about the Asus web site, check out the driver disk version 1.22 that has been shipping with several Asus video cards for the past few weeks. A large portion of these disks feature no drivers at all, but the hour long porn movie was a decent surprise! I'm not kidding about this either! Asus is already sending out replacement disks and issued a v1.23 disk for all new products being shipped. Where did you hear about that!? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/biggrin.gif LOL! FrozenLiquidity NDC 02-15-2001, 08:46 PM ****, I'm gonna have to grab me a copy of that ASUS Driver CD! Anyone have one now? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif Ironforge 02-15-2001, 11:40 PM I guess someone at ASUS is into overclocking.. or umm something.. heh Obsolete 02-16-2001, 02:11 AM My only question with all of these site being hacked, "Who's Next...." -Bill Goldberg RobRich 02-16-2001, 08:50 AM The word about the cd's first appeared over at MadOnion's forums, here (http://.http://gamershq.madonion.com/forum/showthreaded.pl?Cat=&Board=generalnews&Number=272489&page=&view=&sb=&vc=1#Post272489) . Kyle and Steve over at HardOCP decided to check this out, and with the healp several readers found that many v1.22 of the disks actually have a 1-hour porn movie called RAW. Here are a couple of HardOCP reader comments: A little warning about this whole Asus driver CD containing pr0n, if you have one of these disks, please do not attempt to handle this situation on your own. . . instead, send Kyle or I these disks, and we will look into the matter... ummm, thoroughly. The movie was called "RAW"... After the first one it was kind of funny, after the second one it was a pretty annoying.. When the customer asks what this cdr is doing in their motherboard box "uhmm well the video card manufacturer put a porno on the driver cd instead of the drivers, so...." Both cd's I've gotten that had it on there were V 1.22. I've been meanin to throw this in the [h]ardforum but havn't had time to take pictures. I bought the same card for myself from a different source and it was V1.23, and it had the drivers on it. Gary Stofer and again.... I work for a pc part supply company in Illinois (sorry can't be more specific) and six weeks ago we received a complaint letter from a customer saying their V7100 driver disk had nothing but porn on it..he sent it back to us an low and behold it did..of course some of us burned copies of it..It is "an antonio passolini transmission".the name of the movie is "RAW" file name is "AVSQ01.DAT"..stars such names as kylie ireland, joel lawrence, keisha, jessica jewel, anita cannibal (wtf?), syren, donita dunes, midori, violet love, michael j. cox (good one), etc...it's length is 1:08:15 Papa Jorgio heh "sorry can't be more specific"... dude, any more SPECIFIC, and you'd be starring in the d%$# movie!!!! LOL!! BTW, I'm sure if you look around, the movie file is now all over the net. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif Catch ya' later, Robert Richmond SysOpt.com
