I have my HDD partioned and a dual boot setup with Win 2000 and ME. ME is installed on the C:. I want to format the C: and reinstall the OS. I wanted to know if formating the C: will cause problems with the dual booting.

Donkey 02-16-2001, 01:25 AM When you reinstall win me it will write over the boot partition of the drive and thus deleting your dual boot settings. Cr@p thing about win9x is that it isn't capable of recognising other resident os's and creating a boot loader. You should however be able to then boot using the win 2k boot disks and repair the master boot record to resetup te dual boot status.
