I'm gonna get a new soundcard, but I can't decide b/t

The SB-Live is 512 voice and is the only card you can set multimedia advanced properties to highest quality sound and set games to highest quality sound and use surround all at the same time, hear a amazing difference and play at faster frame rates with lowest CPU loads. Try this with any other card ( And I have, MX300 ) and the sound will chop or distort or slow the game performance down.

The only reason I would consider the MX300 now is because it has a software DVD decoder that will work in A3D mode with 4 skeakers. It's sound quality will not compete with the SB-Live with all settings on highest quality.

Your choice, SB-Live rocks!

Microsoft recently announced that they where going to support EAX in DirectX. So for the best game support, compatibility and quality better get the Live!
