I am running WinXP Pro and connect to the internet via a Cable modem. My ISP's DHCP Server assigns an IP address to my system on boot up.
I recently installed PGP v 7.03 on the computer however it was not compatible with WIN Xp. When I uninstalled it, it has corrupted my network. I cannot now logon to the net or my local lan. Everything appears to be working OK however I have no connection, nor do I have an assigned IP address. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the network components on several occasions without success.
Is there any way I can clean install the network components from the installation CD without having to wipe the system and install from scratch as I suspect that the installation of PGP has altered the TCP/IP files somehow.
Thanks in advance
