Hi there, I want to reformat my work PC, it has win2K pro on it now and would like to continue using that OS

What do I have to do to reformat it? the HD is a 20G no sectors just 1 20G

Everything is backed up that I want to keep

Also is there any software that can partion your HD with ease?

Thanks very much

Well just put in your W2k cd, start your computer pick boot from CD, then while installing pick re-format drive.

it is pretty easy.

Partition magic is pretty easy to use I have never had problems with it,(but Iknow many other have)

There's no need to reformat Win2K. Just reinstall it. The entire OS will be re-written.

You can partition your drive with Win2K setup. In this case, you must remove the current partition first - and all of your data. During setup, you will be prompted to create or destroy partitions. Go to town. ;)
