there must be a secret to process, because I've tried email, posting board, etc, but no
success yet.

I'm trying to find out if Drive Image has a 2048mb partition limit for restores and why?
Another poster restored his image(smaller than 5 gb) into a 5 gb partition and it corrupted his partition table; he got a message saying "you have exceeded the 1024 cylinder limit and the partition will not be bootable". He had to reformat, reload OS/drivers/etc. to get back. Has anyone heard about this and why the limitation??

Please don't scatter the same questions over the board - it makes it more difficult (and frustrating) for you and those trying to help. No multiple posting.

Keeping related matters in the same thread produces the best troubleshooting and reply options.

Thanks
