I have a MSI k3t ultra aru mobo and i have configured my 4 drives, 2 hd and 1 cdrw and 1 dvd like this
My Main Hard drive (40gb) is plugged into the Raid socket byitself
My 2nd Hard drive (8gb) is plugged into the 2nd raid socket by itself
my cdrw is connect to the primary socket
my dvd is connect to the secondary socket

well all drives have independent socket i mean, that what i am trying to say
when i boot up and try to go to recovery console or safe mode boot it says that there is not hd or it will freeze while checking drivers , but during boot up it does detect the hd, and if i let normal boot up no problems
now when i connect the hard drives in the primary socket not the Raid, everything goes smoothly, does not have problems getting to safe mode or recovery console

does this happens to any1 on raid or normally, is this suppose to happen??? is there a solution??

You can't use independent drives on the Promise FastTrack133 "Lite". You must create an array.

i think my array is 1+0

First of all, your RAID controller can't do RAID 0+1 (striping+mirroring) - it can only do one or the other. Second, you just told me that you have one 40GB drive ad one 8GB drive, right? That's not an array. To make an array of that, you have to do so in the Promise BIOS. When you were done, you would have two 8GB drives with 32GB wasted on one because the drives must be of equal size.

As I said, unless you create an array, you cannot use the drives on the Promise. :(
