Can anyone give the quick and dirty on how to embed a sound bit in a jpg file?

I could well be wrong, Not my expertise!

But a *.jpg is an image file, therefore I don't think it is possible to incorporate sound in the same file format.

If I'm wrong, explain how, and how this is translated.

All the best, Justy.

Yes, JPG a.k.a Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG). As far as I know, you cannot embed sound in that format. Only thing I could think of is to insert an Audio Annotation to an image and save it in PSD format using Photoshop 6. If you're planning on sending this sound embeded PSD image file for someone to listen, the receiver will have to open this image file with Photoshop to play the sound.

Try all your photo programs, my "image Expert" photo program will let me add audio to my .JPGs, there must be others out there.
