I just saw found out not everyone uses Ctrl C and Ctrl V as a means of copy and pasting. Some use (Ctrl insert) and (Shift insert). This is weird to me, anyone know which one came first? (like when was it first used/made). I think I first used Ctrl C and Ctrl V in win95. I don't remember if I used it or not in win 3.1 or dos.

Vote for which one you use, I curious to know.

I use the mouse mostly:x I click edit, select all(if I am doing that) or just select the item, then right click, click copy or cut, then move to where I want it, click and paste. Or, I have added alot to my Send to menu or just drag and drop, depends alot on what I'm doing, and where I am in the windows:r I rarely if ever use the keyboard commands:D

my dad uses the mouse, i use Ctrl+C/Ctrl+V/Ctrl+X :)

who would want to insert things? its a whole hand away from the keyboard! it requires you to bring up your hand, i would never use it! :)

Ctrl C/V, instant satisfaction, i dont have to scour the desk to find out where the mouse has fallen off at :)

mhh i have a copy past cut button on my office keyboard! :)
i am the laziest (had to get used to in using them, was a crtl c guy as well);)

I used ctrl+c/ctrl+v/ctrl+x in win 3.1. Never heard of ctrl+ins/shift+ins, but I guess it does make sense if you have your right hand on the keyboard while mousing, if you mouse with your left hand. Actually, I did read about that (ctrl+ins/shift+ins) somewhere a long time ago, but since I never used it, I just forgot about it. I believe it also works on win 3.1.

I hate mouse, so I use keyboard to do it (CTRL-C/CTRL-V) :D

CTRL/V CTRL/C CTRL/X for me it's easier to use my pinkie and my index or middle finger to hit the c v or x with my left hand. :D

I really don't use a mouse, I use my thumb on my trackball and one finger,, really really lazy:r
