I'm using WIndows XP Pro and my video card.. voodoo 4.. 32mb.. i found some driver but the XP said it not a good idea to install it czu it not compatible or the XP never test taht driver..

so tell me what to do..
also my video card can't do openGL..

Well, ah, hate to tell you, ,but 3dfx, the ppl who made the voodoo cards, are well, dead. They went out of business several years ago. Before XP came out.

So, if you do actually find a driver, it most likely wont be an official one.

I have tried a number of 3rd party drivers for my Voodoo 4 and they all seem to cause random reboots. I now use the ones that XP installs for you. I'm just gonna buy a card from a live company.

amigamerlin 2.1 for xp. before my geforce ti 4600 it was voodoo 5 5500 and these are by far the most popular drivers(unoficial) for windows xp.voodoofiles.com

We know 3dfx is dead but there are some people (3dfx underground) that are still making drivers for Windows. You can go directly to their page or just download the drivers from voodoofiles.! I'm using a Voodoo 3 2000 pci right now with the new drivers from 3dfx underground and they run great no lockups, no problems whatsoever.!

The amigamerlin 2.1 is the best performer of all the drivers I have tried . 3dfx tools even worked, which is more than I can say for some other drivers, but the IRQL_ etc. errors drove me nuts.

I know other people who have had good luck with these drivers, I think it all depends on your hardware.

Well... my system specs:

AMD K6-2 400mhz
128 SDRAM PC133
Gigabyte (don't remembder the model ;)) mobo
Voodoo 3 2000 pci (althought the mobo has an AGP slot, the voodoo does alright!)
etc.

and the drivers by 3dfx underground works pretty good. And yes, 3dfx tools works.! ;)
