DocEvi1 08-07-2002, 11:03 AM probably not - your mouse takes a bit of processing, the IDE channels are controlled by the CPU hence when you open a prog you are using the CPU to: read the info off the HDD put the info into the RAM change what is displayed connect another session to the modem move the mouse control the other screens Firewall (optional) Virus Protection (optional) Get the idea? What is your OS and your CPU speed? Stefan iceblue 08-07-2002, 05:15 PM winxp + 733MHz- i do have firewall and antivirus, but firewall shouldnt make a difference since i wasnt sending or receiving data by opening a blank IE window; my antivirus protection pretty much works stealth, i also eyed the usage % on that and it takes up a mere 1%...
