Hello Forum,

I recently created business cards for my artwork webpage on Printmaster Gold. Today I went by Kinkos to ask about their business card fees and they informed me that I need to convert the business card file to *.pdf format. I tried making a copy of the file and renaming it with .pdf at the end. It changed the icon to a .pdf icon but when I tried to open the altered file, it would not open. So I know there must be a different way of converting into .pdf format. I then cut and pasted the image of the business card in Printmaster Gold into Microsoft Word (Office 2000). I was able to fit 8 of the images onto one page of Microsoft Word (because they charge by page at Kinkos). However, when I tried to convert the .doc file to .pdf by changing the ending of the icon name to .pdf.....it again didn't work. As I said before, I'm sure there is a different way of converting that I am missing here. :)

Thanks,

Greg :t

you can't pull it off that way

you need the real Adobe Acrobat
not reader to make the convertion.

the only way to convert to .pdf is to use Acrobat's distiller. Basically, you print the original file INTO a .pdf format. sorta like print to file! Unfortunately you need the full Acrobat 5 to do this not just the reader.

Wait... you are in luck!
try this:
