I chose 2 RPGs but can only buy one...So which one has better story and gameplay? Or what do you like more? Which has a better multiplayer?

NWN doesnt have a stupdendous story, not as good as the previous BG series.

I've heard Morrowwind is very open ended while NWN is very linear. However NWN has lots of multiplayer capabilities and its own detailed and complex world building system while I have no clue about morrowind or if it even has one. NWN has good gameplay, one of nicest interfaces I've seen in while and good navigation. I have heard problems with the view on Morrowind. Its a bunch of tradoffs.

I'd say if ur lookin for single player experience Morrowind is prolly better bet.

For multiplayer since i've heard great things bout NWN multi (i havent tried it yet) and am unaware of any for Morrowind im gonna say NWN wins.

Morrowind. I have heard NWN is fun for hack and slash, but more than one person has commented on the endless killing. Morrowind is HUGE and completely open ended. Make sure you have a decent vid card if you want to play with the eye candy on. Any thing from Radeon 8500/GF3 should be good to go.

I play it on a 8500 w/64mb ram. I am getting a Ti4400 so as to not get a jumping screen when I play it. :)

As I play, it gets worse. The screen will lock up suddenly, I move the mouse around a little, then the image catches up with my movement making the scene "jump." It doesn't seem related to action on the screen. It isn't the loading of a new scene, because the program is kind enough to let me know when that is what it is doing.

I have a 1800+ and 512mb 2100 Corsair DDR, so I hope it isn't the cpu or the RAM. If so, I will just wait till the Hammer comes out.

As I play, it gets worse. I litterally can't go more than an hour of gaming before I need to restart the program. your hardware is fine, it might just be the SWAP file that is the problem

how is your Swap file configured?

Ummm.....

I guess I'd need to know what my swap file is first. I am running win 2k, and I know jack **** about my swap file. Is that my page file? as in 766mb to 1526mb?

yes is your page file

since you have 500 meg of ram

set it to 200 meg mac and 200 min

now that should help you. on the game

if you have another HDD, i set it on another HDD other than the one used by the OS or the Games

Can you answer me this Allgamer...

I dropped my page file to accomodate NFS Porche Unleashed, and it worked fine. BUT win 2k started to crash. I reset the page file to the default and all is kosher once again. Can I leave my settings at 200 min 200 max, or will Windows performance degrade and spontaneous crashes return?

I have 2 hds in Raid 0, so no dice on the extra drive unless I dissolve the array.

Thanks. ;)

yes you can keep it on 200.

I have no idea what relation there is between a smaller pagefile and windows crashing.

as far as i know, you can run windows with 0 pagefile and it wont crash, which is in my case.

well only 2 meg, in 2k you cannot have 0, in XP you can.

there's an option to "Turn Off Page File"

it works fine on my radeon 8500, the graphics are nice what the people talk and you just see this frozen look with the mouth going up and down, lol. Wish they could fix that, they look lifeless
