voogru;did u make the heatsink?wish i had a cam.
Barney is right. When the fan is sucking you should have the shroud on. That way more air is forced to enter the heatsink lower on the pins. That way there's less of a short-cut for the air to take from the sides of the heatsink into the fan. More air passing on more surface area equates to better cooling...at least in theory. You may have found it works better the way you have it.
The shroud is generally better left off when blowing air onto the heatsink because there's less back pressure to decrease the fans efficiency.
I haven't exactly read this anywhere, it's just what make sense to me. So if I'm completely backwards on this someone please correct me. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

What temperature does your processor run at? You say you're (the fan http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif ) sucking the from the heatsink so you don't use the shroud. I can see on the pic it's sucking, but you shouldn't use the shroud when the fan is blowing ! That means you have to put on the shroud or turn the fan upside down.

Oh for anybody wondering, bottom fan on side of case is sucking into the case. Top fan on the side of tha case is blowing hot air out. Fan on the back of the case is sucking cool air in which basically feeds right onto/over the top of my superorb.

I think the next thing for me to do is round some cables and clean up the inside alittle, i think i will stick with heating and foilding rather than cutting hehe i don't trust myself that much.

Very unique PC case you got there, Trey! It certainly has good air ventilation at the top, I think you just need to tear some vents for the sides of the case! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif
Nice crisp photos there voogru. What camera u take them with?
Cool case Trey !

Thanks voogru, maybe slow but they look sharp!
