Looking for a new Monitor. Pref 17" and can goto 85mhz. Need one pretty sharpish and was looking at the high st shops (mainl for warrenties etc) quickest would be to goto PC World but ive always disliked them cos of there high prices. Can anyone recommend a decent place to buy a monitor. No more than £150 quid.
Cheers

www.scan.co.uk often has good ilyama monitors on their "today only" page.
www.microlanduk.com has monitors for about that. I just ordered a 19" for £180 from them. You can pick up a good 17" now for just over £100 from them or scan.

I wouldn't touch cheap iiyama monitors - I have had a lot of them and they all broke.
Try www.dabs.com, they have a load on offer, enough to cater to every budget.

I have purchased three used monitors at Computer shows in the USA. They're approaching one year of use at this time without any problems. A 17", 20', and a 21". The large ones are very high quality. Mine is a ViewSonic 20. They cost me $85, $200, and $250 USA.
