My grandpa's hewlett packerd pavillion 8660 computer crashed and he took out the hard drive and it had burnt spots on the curcitry. He has stuff on there that he wants to keep so does anyone have a quantum fireball 20gig hard drive that he could buy its probably a 5400 rpm or lower.
Thanks,
Christopher

Hello, I have a Quantnum 20gig 7200rpm hdd which I got w/ my dell and I have it in my system now. It's been in use for a couple of years but works fine (no kinks). How much would you give me?

Seagate 20.0GB 7,200 RPM IDE $60
that's from an Online store.

I need one that is exactly the same so that he can take the curcuit board off and put it on his old one to save the data. it needs to be model number: lb20a011
UNIBROW: if it the same model number then pm me at sevenbeansalad@juno.com and I will give you a price.
Thanks,
Christopher

I doubt the exact circuit board will help ya, if the Disks Platters are fried, by the way you described it.
well, wish ya best of luck, on your attempt to recover whatever might be left in there.
