Where can I download sound editing software ?
Pls provide the link.

I tried Sound Forge 6 but the demo version, doesn't allow saving the file....
I need to edit wav file for my project...

There is a freeware editor called cooledit, I think it's fairly basic but try google for a DL link.

Otherwise there should be a section on downloads.com

Try audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Its free, open source. Its the best free one ive found.

If you have a Creative sound card, you should install Creative wave editor from your installation disk, it's simple but deadly accurate when trimming tracks\wave files, adjusting volumes cutting and pasting, etc. If you're serious about wave editing and don't mind paying for the software, then Steinberg (http://www.steinberg.net/products/index.phtml) is a good place to start.
