bugs with Win Xp And Stacraft

I dont know if is my portuguese version of the win XP or anything else on my computer bug I got that "cd error message" that usually appears in the win98 when i try to play the game.
Does anyone else with winXP got that error message ??? any answers??? ( I´m not running the program under compability mode)

Let's see now, do you have 2 cd-rom drives?

Maybe you installed the application in another CD-ROM drive (possibly your CD Burner or something). The application could be trying to find the game on D: or whatever, when there is no CD in there. If you have another CD-ROM Drive, try inserting the CD there.

I hope your version of StarCraft isnt pirated from you downloading it off users from Kazaa or whatever. Because if it is and you installed a patch to fix some bugs in the game, then it will most definitetly wont work unless it's been RE-CRACKED.

If you still get that error, try running a compatibility mode for StarCraft, maybe Windows 98/ME mode would work. Still doesn't work? Try re-installing the game...

My starcraft is original, and yes I have two cd drives. the cd burner and my cd rom. I thought that this could be related too with the bug... bug Im sure that I installed the game in my cdrom drive. my friend has just the cdrom drive and he got the same bug. hes running XP too... jesuusss... anyone else got this bug???? :mad:
