I'm upgrading CPU from 300 to 600 on an AT mobo. Everything working good. Should I bother with updating the BIOS.

I have updated the BIOS on many machines to support previously unsupported CPUs or to be able to boot from a CD-ROM or ZIP. GroundZero3 02-12-2001, 10:47 AM wouldn't update my bio anymore. i update my abit and now i have a $70 paper weight. new bios chips are like 60 bucks!! JaYsin SysOpt.com
