When i start a game like UT or halflife i go into it and then the screen resizes in the game, its a little smaller and a little to the right most times, i wanna kno how i can get screen sizes in my games to run at the same as my desktop...

I usually run my games in the desktop rez 1024x768, any one know how to fix this prob?

Im using geforce 4 ti4200 with the latest Det drivers for XP, , im running it at 1024X768 (same as my desktop) and when i get into the game it doesnt fit the screen, ive tried at in all rez's and still the same prob, the only way to get it to fit the screen is if i fiddle within the osd on the monitor to adjust the screen, but then when i exit back to windows the screen doesnt fit right because i fiddles eitht he settings inside the game.... anyone got any ideas?

Welcome to SysOpt !

Seems like a refresh rate problem to me.
Use RivaTuner (http://www.nvworld.ru/downloads/rivatuner.zip) to adjust your refresh rate in games with refresh rate of your desktop (with 17" monitor @1024x768 it's usually (and best) 100Hz).
Good luck :)
