Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Very OT, but jfax.com voice mail problems - does anyone have a clue what's happening?

www.jfax.com provides two free services - one is free voicemail delivered to your email as a sound file, and the other is a free dedicated fax number delivering to your email as well. I haven't had any problems using the voicemail before...It worked fine, but recently my girlfriend in Korea is only getting a bunch of beeps and tones instead of the usual recorded female voice prompt it uses. It worked for her before, and it still works for me now when I dial the number and test it, and I know she isn't dialing the wrong number because she's had it on speed dial all along.

There's no tech support, cause after all, it's free...But I hope to be able to get this to work b/c it's a way for her to reach me when I'm tying up the phone line with my computer.

Could it be some kind of problem with the international long distance, or with her cell phone carrier now? Again, everything worked fine before. Or a conflict between something and the technology jfax.com uses for this? I have no idea...Does anyone know enough about the long-distance phone, cell phone, and maybe also voice mail technologies that this would make any sense?

Thanks a lot for your time!
