I have not seen any other manufacturer make an 8x card, though 8x AGP is useless in this day and age. pandaz3 08-01-2002, 08:36 PM ATI Radeon 9700 is supposed to support AGP 8x NDD 08-01-2002, 09:54 PM So did Asus, check out on new A7V8X ... Antix 08-02-2002, 03:01 AM I guess I am a bit behind of the times heh, oh well 8x is too new to messing with, like any new technology give it time to fix the bugs. pandaz3 08-02-2002, 07:25 AM Yes and I just read elsewhere that the VIA KT400 chipset is having bugs supporting DDR400:( BobyJo 08-02-2002, 08:46 AM I just finished reading an article where VIA officially does not support DDR400. Even thier KT400 chipset's will not support DDR400 memory. This leaves NForce and SIS as the only chipsets that officially support DDR400 memory. morpheus kain 08-02-2002, 05:55 PM It'll be interesting to see if AMD makes a press announcement about the rumored 166/333 Athlons. With these new chipsets coming out it seems like the perfect time because then they would be able to roll native support for them into the new Nforce2's and such. No more comments on this subject cuz there is another thread dedicated to the 333fsb AMD's. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/showthread.php?threadid=112746&goto=newpost SysOpt.com
