I use Nero software for my burning but I was wondering is it possible to have a multisession using a CD R with audio files? Every time I try to do it it won't let me. I have tried to set up and ISO disk and a regular audio disk but it won't allow me to do a multisession disk with a CD R. I do make sure that the finalize CD is unchecked.

I know that with audio files using a CD R disk in necessary but I don't understand why a multisession is not allowed. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

There is sufficient problems just trying to record a cd-da in one session.

If you don't have enough material to make a complete CD-DA, I suggest that you store the info on a CD-R in wav or mp3 using a packet writing program and wait until you do have enough material.

CD players (decks) only see the first session of audio CD's. If you build a multisession CD-DA (audio CD) your cd player will only play the tracks you recorded in the first session.

I don't use nero but what you're trying to do will give you a useless CD.

What you need to do to keep adding tracks, is to burn the CD track at once but leave the SESSION open. After the last track is added you close the session and end up with a Single session CD that will play anywhere (but while the session is open only your burner will see it).

So, check leave session open, add tracks and burn TAO (track at once).
