It looks about rite to me, it really depends on the time and day.
regardless of what they advertize for DSL or Cable.
What KINDS of problems? Ya gotta go over your system if y our having problems. Do you have anti virus and trojen gear? Is something connecting and bogging it down? Get a netstat program and see whats connecting.
What kind of firewall do you have?
Those are the basic things everyone first has to check.. assuming of course that your system is running ok to begin with. *s*
Course its like looking for an electrical problem on a old chevy... you can spend hours on it and find out its a simple hardware problem.
Did that make sense? Once I tracked down an elctrical problem on a citation to a bad "running light " bulb. and once we tore out our hair cause the PC wouldnt connect at all.. and it turned out that that ONE slot was no good ( for the ethernet card)

These speeds are based on an inacurate setting in your rwin packet speed or mtu s[peed . download this progam and set your packet speed to 55550 and your mtu speed to 1500 . This usually will resolve the low default setting of windows.http://www.dslreports.com/front/drtcp.html Try different settings but do not set too high or you will get packet loss. You will have to reboot for the settings to take affect.

I have Cable too and I see on average Upload of 250 KBPS and down load of 1500+ KBPS Or MORE usually 1700.
Sounds like you need to make some Tweaks. I will try to find the name a good app tonight. Do a search on here, this place always has the right answer!
