LOWEST 3D MARK SCORES

i rember a while ago my freind had a k6 original around 350mhz, got a SiS 530 and cranked up the resolution to 1600*1200*32. we ran 3dmark and i recorded the lowest score I'd ever seen, 362 3D Marks ill rember that screen forever.

so, what's the lowest y'all ever seen ?

ps. it was 3dmark 2000

I remember scoring around 1100 points in 3DMark2001 with a Voodoo2 and 1GHz T-Bird if it makes you happy ;)

I heard someone got 142 3D marks :eek: on 3D Mark 2001. I didnt think it would run on a computer that slow?? I wish i could remember the specs of that system, it was a while ago.

The lowest score Ive ever seen is 1 3DMark, on 3DMark 2000, and 40 3DMarks with 3DMark 2001.

In 3dmark2000, I had a score of 1335 with a PII 400 and TNT 16 mb. Upgraded to geforce 32 mb sdr and got 3085. Upgraded to PIII 750 and got 4252. Upgraded to Geforce3 Ti200 and got 5980.

BTW, got 4313 in 3dmark2001 SE.

I have a celeron 433 with a GF3 Ti 200. With my old ****ty PC Chips motherboard i got 1837 3D marks, unfortunately that mobo died and i got a Shuttle MV17E and now i get 2668. With my FSB @ 83Mhz (540MHz) with the Gcard @ at 220/450 i got 3478. It just shows how much difference the mobo can make :) Unfortunately games dont like the overclocking of the FSB and often crash (3D Mark 2001 didn't) so i keep the cpu stock and the GF3 overclocked. I am getting a P4 soon and will put the GF3 into that i should get around 5000-6000 (its 1.5GHz second hand form my uncle since i havent really got a job yet to pay form a whole new system) P4s sadly score alot less than the Athlon XP which i wanted to get. Also the old mobo only had AGP 1x :confused: this one has AGP 4x. One of my friends old computers (A PII 266 with a PCI TNT2 nad 256mb RAM) got 256 or something gay like that.

I'll upgrade again when I feel like it. Or when Hammer comes out, or maybe nForce2. The current chipsets don't excite me terribly. I waited for the 440BX to come out before I got my current board (haha old) since the chipsets prior to it were drab.

Guys, back on the serious side

i want to run a full 3D marks bench on some real old machine with 4 meg and 8 meg vid cards

anyone have any idea how i can make (FORCE) the whole test to complete?

it always aborts the whole thing the first test if fails

with beefer cards like the GF MX series even if it fails it'll keep on running, so any ideas why?

This guy was running a PII 300 with 128 mb of ram and 8 mb riva 128 video. Ok, so it was his wife's dell.

huh!!! my Voodoo 4500 (32mb) & athlon 1700XP using WIndows XP pro score 1129.. in 3DMark2001.. (with WIndows Me score 1649):(

I tried running 3d Mark 2001 on a Compaq 667mhz with 8 meg onboard video. The thing wouldn't run even on the lowest settings.

I ran benchmarks using my onboard 32mb s3savage 4 ddr also..

I got only 396!

Yep, twiggy's cel 433 beat yours, too! Who has a cel 700?

You should get much better scores with a gf3 or 4ti. If not, put it out of its misery. :p
