Hi,

I'm interested in getting some critism on my new website. It doesn't have alot of content right now, but the idea is there.
Thanks in advance! - (please excuse the pop-up!)

Hi there!

Oki, you asked for critisism, and brace yourself,
here it comes. :)

The first question from me is:
- Is this going to be a amateur site (for you and
your friends?), or is it something you want to develop
into a comercical site? If the last one is true, loose the
popups. Had to close 2-3 of them each time i pressed a
button on that site. Gets a little annoying.

Over to the design:
Nice layout with good colors and not to mutch thingies
that a lot of people adds to their site cause "the more
i got of thingies, the better the site...." *shrugs*
What i missed on the first page, is some explanation.
One simple question: What is it for??
I had to browse a couple of links before i found something
that was linked to 3D Studio Max, is that what this site
is for? It says Artists homepage. What artists? Do they
got a name? Do they got a theme? or what?

If you can add a "background" story, where you explain
or gives a hint about what the site is for, what purpose
it has compared to the billiards of other website out
there with galleries etc. :)

Well, generally a good layout, nice fonts/colors, but
it lacks a bit on the information side of the design.
Fix that, and you will have a very good site.

Gobi.

nice.
I agree that maybe you should look into getting a new webhost, there are plenty about which allow you to to either put ads within your page, or non at all.

I like the graphics, very nice (I wish I could do stuff like that :( ), the only thing I would say is the download speed is terrible - I had to give up downloading the second page - which is not good.

Try www.cjb.net - they give a url forwarding i.e. www.ironik.cjb.net - very handy and looks a lot neater.

thanks! I'll look into getting a new web host! I'll also put a description on the page. It is still in its infancy, so I have alot of work to do yet.

I've added a small description and chosen the ads to be displayed on the page. Tell me what you think?

It costs money to upgrade the bandwidth so I'll have to suffer with it for the moment. Is it that bad? I chose angelfire because it was free and comes with webshell to upload files.

Hi there again!

Mutch better.
Is there anyway you can move that add from the top of
the page, to the bottom of it? well, just a thought...

Keep going!

Gobi.

yup, it seems to load a little faster now.

I still like the layout / look.

I found a host that will display my website for free. I've been working on this one for a while, but have a look and tell me what you think?

Hi there!

Ok, Now I'm Impressed! Veeeeery nice work. :)
All there is to put my finger on is a minor thingie
thats easy to add, and that is that you need a "back"
link on the pages with pics and links. Except that,
the site is awesome!

*Applaudes*

Best regards
Gobi.

Yeah the absence of a back link is pretty frustrating. I've been though and tried to browse the site myself. It gets a little hard to navigate at times. I'll add the links eventually.

Thanks for the nice comments:)

very nice actually, however people may not want to see too many ads or popups, which look similar to your anime gallery! :)

you lost me there?

Ads an popups? The site is free but there aren't any ads or popups.
