I have a Iomega Zip 100mb zip drive, Running on win98. Since the Iomega zip 100 only stores 100mb, and i cant use biggers disk storage sizes, is it possible to save a 400mb program on multipule disks? I tried to do it by sending the program to the zip drive, but that didnt work, is just said "the file being copied is too large for the destination drive."
I was wondering how i can do this, if at all possible, or if there was a program out there that would let me do this.
Please help. Thank you.

Yes you can do it even Without, using the anoying Windows software for the Zip100
i also have that drive.
Do you remember the good OLD, PKZIP v2.04g ???
well use that with the /span disks option
Winzip also as the same feature. for that mean many other compression has the same feature WinAce, WinRar, WinArj, etc...
just make sure you save in its default .zip, .arg, .ace, .rar, .etc...
so you can unzip, unrar, un whatever, from a commond prompt in DOS, when you don't have MS Windoze installed.

Drag the file you want to store on the Zip drive to a WinZip window. You will be asked where you want to put it. Specify your Zip drive. When the first disk is full, Winzip will ask for another disk.
Make sure that you mark the disks 1, 2, 3 etc.

its far easier to just use a cdrw and burn the file as one file backup even if you have to borrow one

that only is feasible if he has one, right now he only has the zip100
