Radeon Ark

I downloaded the Radeon Ark demo, heard the graghics were fantastic. When I try to start it the screen goes black for a second or two, then back to norm, no error mesages or anything,
but just will not innitialize the demo.
Is there certain settings that are needed to play this demo ?
I have the Radeon 8500 128 mb win 98 SE, athlon xp1900.

Do you have the latest drivers for your card?
Go to the site you downloaded it from and check out if the say anything? :confused: :t

I had the same problem when i first got my radeon 7200 64mb..Same symptoms..I never got it working under 98 but win me ran it just fine.

I dont know how much differnt your demo is than mine as there is a considerible differnce between our cards, but i didnt think it was all that good

Got it working, needed the "nocheck" file.
Graphics are good, she's got a nice ****
for a demo.
