for a USED baby - micro ATX mobo for a gateway box, prefer it to have most everything onboard and be able to handle a 233 mmx cpu. The mobo in the case now measure's about 8 1/2 inches wide and about 9 inches long. I don't want to spend alot of $$ as I'm giving this away when it's up.
Thanks

Edit: E me if I don't answer your PM in two days.

I have somethign like that, what processor is it? I know mine supports a cyrix 233Mhx (cyrix M2 300) or I think a P1, I don't think it can handle a P2, I'd have to check.

If it's what you want I'd give it to you for free, because

a) I have no way of checking if it works, it's been unused for about a year now.

b) It's missing one of the chip's heatsinks (yeah I kinda "borrowed" it for a gfx card heatsink  ) although I could probably fix this.

c) I'm not sure if I have all the connector cables for the onbaord stuff (though I should have).

It has onbaord modem, onbaord LAN (I think, I'll need to check) onbaord sound, it doesn't have an onbaord video.

I'll try and dig up the make/model with specs meanwhile it would be useful if you dug up the processor and stuff you have that needs to be compatible.

This supports 2 types of PSU too, though the names of em have gone from my head right now (tis 1am, sorry :( ).

EDIT: Sorry, having dug it up it looks like a no-hoper I'm afraid, it's missing a BIOS chip too D:

I can't find the exact model (anyone have any advice on looking up motherbaords) but it's a socket 7, sis chipset 5598 / sis chipset 900 job, with onbaord LAN, audio and modem.

It has 2 ISA, 3 PCI, 2 DIMM slots. Sorry it looks like unless a miracle occurs (ie. I find a bios chip and manage to test this thing) that it isn't gonna be much use.

Good luck finding what you are looking for though.

If you'd pay shipping - I got one you can have. Nothing onboard - don't know if it works - uses 72pin simms and I don't have any. It's got a Pentium chip on it - but no idea what speed - it is socket 7 - and I do know that it powers atleast enough to flash the keyboard lights and turn them on - but without RAM I can't test anything else. Physically the board is fine - but I got it from my tech college when they junked all the old PCs - and it hasn't been in static bag or anything. I'm sure you probably don't have any use for it - but just letting you know the offers there if you want to take a gamble. I know nothing about it - I just took it for the ISA slots I was going to use for a project that I never got around to. (it does have Printer/serial/ and PS/2 mouse on board - but you'd have to find the cables:S) It's also SiS chipset with Award BIOS. It also has some smaller Via chips - go figure:P
