ok.. for all you guys who like to play vs chess programs..
i'm selling the new hiarcs 8 chess program. it was only installed once. comes on the latest fritz server with the new features. this is supposedly the best chess program vs chess program program :p
it's great in vsing anti computer strategies and has a has a lot of brilliant attacks as black.
after playing vs the program about a hundred times.. i finally beat it on its highest level of playing 'unleashed' which is supposed to be over 2800 elo
so far here are some of the programs i've beaten..
chessmaster turbo
chessmaster 6000
chessmaster 7000
chessmaster 8000
fritz 6
fritz 7
shredder 5.32
nimzo 8
hiarcs 8
i haven't had a chance to play any of them on multi processors (allows them to move 100% faster) so i've had to play them in long games. my yahoo rating is 2300, my excite rating before the pay games was 2300, right now in excite pay games im about 2180, in the fide server i'm about 70, and in the uscf my elo in 1998 was around 1980.
right now i believe hiarcs 8 sells for $60US plus the insane shipping cost from germany.
i'll sell it for $70 shipped which is about $25 cheaper than what i had to pay because of shipping :O
