Network ?? Can't play games together BUT !!

Hey fellow helpers. I been working on the 2 Computers both have network cards. all connected. I can see the drives from the other computer can change them every thing seems great, But when we try and run Command & Conquer and use network to play teams, we can't see each other in the lobby to start. Now it worked before,so I'm not sure what I'm missing. I can't figure it out. everything else works fine though. anyone have any ideals where I can check and maybe solve this problem :confused: . thanks People.;)

not sure about C&C but if it has the option to manually enter ip adresses give this a go. I had to do this for RTCW.

also i think it gives you a choice of networking connections, for my network i use TCP/IP altho i can use IPX too, try out both/the other one.

C&C needs IPX/SPX installed for network play. If you already have that but have problems, you need to specify the IPX/SPX frame type instead of using the default Autoselect choice.

You can specify the frame type with the Control Panel|Network|IPX/SPX =>NIC|properties|frame type

I would choose 802.2 (which is actually newer than 802.3 but it mostly doesn't matter as long as all machines are set the same).
