Building my new computer... possible problems?

My parts will arrive soon, and I was just wondering, what are common problem that people run into when building or after building a computer? And what is the solution to the problem(s)?

There's thousands of problems you can run in to and more solutions than I can write down. Most can be fixed without buying any new parts, though. Just make sure you install the parts 1 piece at a time so if there is a problem, you can tell which part it has to do with. Put the cpu/ram/mobo/vidcard in first and make sure it boots into the bios.
