I have a dual athlon 1800+ system, w/ 1gb ddr 266 sdram, 120GB WD SE and Geforce4 Ti4600, yet somehow I manage to only achieve a score of about 8000 in 3dmark2001. Maybe I'm stupid (I doubt it) but this is a REALLY low score for a system like this. I know lots about my box, but nothing about oc'ing. Can anybody give me a few hints on how to raise my score? Thanks a bunch, peace

Upgrade to that latest drivers for your motherboard and video card. newest nvidia drivers http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=drivers

Also turn of vertical sync(VSync) and Antialiasing. Lastly put

use up to 15 mb of system memory for textures in PCI mode.

You can also overclock your video card if you want,

Turn OFF FSAA this will improve your performance.
