Every time i restart my computer it comes up that i have too Restore my registry. Its fine but i just installed a scanner and a wacom, So every time i restart i have to re install them. I am running windows 98 SE on a 433mh/z HP computer. Please reply with any help you might have.

This is usually caused by a physical memory problem. I'd hate to see you reinstall Windows before testing the memory.

boot to safemode and under start/Run type this and hit enter
scanreg /fix then hit enter.

And after you do get a good running registry be sure to run
scanregw.exe from the run line.

If the reg things above don't do it go back to the memory bill said as bad ram will keep screwing the registry until the ram is replaced. Had to keep replacing explorer.exe because of bad ram while waiting for rma'd ram to arrive.
