I am trying to find out what's the better DDR ram and what's pretty good. I am woundering if its better to get Corsair ram or if its just as good to get Samsumg or Kingston or OCZ.

yea I agree here Crucial is the best!!

other rams dont run at the specified speed! they run much slower!

only generic ram chips run at a slower speed. the type you find in pre-built computers. any ram made by large companies will run at the specified speed. crucial is good but dear.

Crucial, Mushkin and OCZ are all renowned for their quality. Geil doesn't seem too bad either, they make the only PC3500 RAM that I've come across.

Crucial is a company Micron startede to distribute their RAM. Crucial RAM is Micron RAM.

All the big names are good, OCZ, Kingston, Crucial, Samsung, Corsair . . .but remember . . .every individual chip is different . . .

2 identical chips from the same manufacturer can perform different.

At least with most of the big names you get a lifetime guarantee, you get what you pay for.

I like PNY. Lifetime warrenty, good performance from everything I have seen. Not sure how they handle overclocking though.
