Some sites have icons associated with their addresses (espn.com, hotmail, google etc). I like like to see them in my favorite places and on my links toolbar, but my IE seldom decides to show them to me or remember them when it does. However, I really have to fiddle with the shortcut to get them to show. This fiddling involves dragging and dropping to shortcut to a variety of places (desktop, favorite places, toolbar links).
What is the key to getting these icons to show up and stay put? Are these stored in the temporary internet files folder? How can I make them more permanent?
