My old 200mhz system is not loading the bios at powerup! No beep, no bios, no nothing! Can this be fixed? Do I need a new bios or motherboard? I cannot even get it to boot from a floppy-is this the end of this system?

Is there even video output from the vidcard? That may be hosed and not the BIOS.

What DO you get at startup?

Do u have another chip to slip in that computer?If so try that,that's how I found out my I GIG T-bird was dead.I would try everything u could think of like reinserting all cards and power supply cords you can think of.swap out all equipment piece by piece and then if nothing it's either the mobo or the chip.Good luck...SIC...
