A co-worker has a song on CD from his band, that he needs to send in MP-3 format ( e-mail attch. )...... what WinAmp plug-in does he use to convert the .wav to a MP-3.

I don't believe that Winamp has its own internal plugin for MP3 compression. You will need a 3rd party program.

Go for Winlama, its fast and simple and small to download.
