Ok, here is the set up:
*****************
XP1800+ 11.5x139 (1598mhz)
Vcore 1.79v
Artic Silver compound
Volcano 7 HSF
Single intake fan
Dual Exhaust fans
Slot Blower
*****************
Temps: 43c @ idle
48c @ load
This seems a little hot to me? My goal is to get up around
1700 Mhz, But not too sure w/ these temps.

Don't worry about it till it gets unstable or over 60C. 48 is really nothing to worry about.

I think I just figured out a problem. The fan on my BRAND NEW VOLCANO 7, was on backwards. pulling air out of the fins, insted of into them.

Some heatsink/fan combos are designed to pull air off of the heatsink rather than push it onto it. There was no problem, your temperatures were below average to begin with. I know people with your same proc and temps that are as much as 10C higher. If you flip it and it is warmer then that means it was in the correct position to begin with.

I turned it over and now im down to 40c at idle. Its only been on for 4 days (only), so I hope no damage has occured. I should be on the phone with TT.
