Excellent heat sinks. Almost too good. The SK-6 fits really tight in Socket A boards and must be given an extra shove to place it flush against the die. If you don't, your CPU will really sizzle. I would imagine that the SK-600 and 800 are similar in this respect.
I cannot fault the performance - the SK-6 with a 60mm 4500RPM fan matches the perfomance of the ThermalTake Volcano (non-plus) with an 80mm fan.

Modification to Socket 7 processors.. =) I am gonna get one a modify it for a Socket 7 Processor (aka AMD K6-2 Processor). Seems like the Gigahertz Heatsinks do a better job for cooling those old processors.. I did notice it is huge making it a good project and modify my drive trays to get it on the processor..

BipolarBill::I have one of these coolers. I have installed this hs on Abit and Epox Socket A mobo's without any mods being made.
I have the SLK600 which is the same hs only not cut to accept the 80mm fans.
I have the Delta 50cfm fan on it and I will say this is the absolute best hs/fan I have ever had the pleasure of using.
I am running a MP1800+ at 10.5x166 and the temps are mid 30c to low 40c under full load. Never gets out of the 30c area under normal loads.
I have the fan turned 180degres to match the side panel fan. Else they would compete against each other. One blowing air down the hs/fan blowing air up. Now both are blowing down. There are no mods that need to be done to install the hs/fan on a socked A mobo, fits great, actually the hs has a smaller footprint than most other socket A hs's I have used.
The hs weighs a whopping 2lbs.
Quite heavy, I would not recommend shipping a system with this hs/fan installed. A drop of this box, could result in distroying the system board. Other than this one thing, I would recommend this hs/fan to anyone that has a hi end system that would like to keep the cpu cool under the most taxing cercumstances.
