What are everyone's opinions on the EPoX 8K3A motherboard? It seems to be stable. It is relatively cheap. It runs DDR 333 (PC2700). It has a good bus 200/266MHz. It supports 1.666GHz. Who likes it and who has complaints. Let me know what you think about this board.

There are lots of fans here and no detractors that I know of. That's a pretty good record!

Thanx Bill. I have heard some complaints regarding the fact that it does not support USB 2.0. Also I read elsewhere on the internet that this is not the best board for running good 3D settings. How does everyone feel about this? How do you feel Bill?

Good mobo. The only external devices that really use USB 2, for now, are external USB hard drives and USB burners. Then again, who would really use a USB hard drive. Just get a removeable rack. Now, I do see a reason for a USB 2 burner. Its easier to disconnect from 1 system and connect to another.
USB mice, keyboards, and game controllers really don't need USB2. At least not for now.

Well, technically it'll "support" USB 2.0 if you get a PCI add-on card... I just doesn't include USB 2.0... I have the + version of that board (built in RAID controller) and it is by far the best MB i've ever used for AMD based systems.

Imperion makes a good point. You can add a card for what you're saving initially. I think that EPoX offers a free USB 2.0 card anyway - as a coupon.

As far as 3D performance goes, I haven't heard anything on that.

Good to hear. Bill, the 3D thing was brought up by some random guy on a random review site. I would give u think link but I found it on a different computer. I didn't believe it, but just thought I'd ask. Thanx:)
