Most were AT however some were proprietary nunyadam 02-05-2001, 08:46 PM save yourself some trouble and buy a new case. if you can afford to build a new one(cpu) the cost of a new case is'nt that much extra. give the old one to a kid that need's it. what type of budget by the way? linux_guru 02-06-2001, 01:21 AM As per the previous posts, it's most likely an AT case, which limits the m/board you can put into it: socket7 or super socket7. Thera are a few P-III boards around, of the AT type, but these are pretty rare. Do yourself a favour and shell out a few extra dollars for a new case. Just a basic one with a good power supply will get your new box off to a good start. CMonster 02-06-2001, 01:59 AM Please don't give the 486 to a kid it will just frustrate him. SysOpt.com
