Does anybody know of any good power supplies with over 400w? I have some no-name 400w p/s that came with my case for a power hungry dual athlon system and I have a sneakin suspicion that the p/s might be causing some of my probs.

that they will! Antec true power, 430 watts. nice $99 . I use em.
