from $9.95 to $29.95 because of heavy usage.
But for $9.95 we were supposed to get
unlimited usage, no banner ads. Of courswe
we are going to cancel, b/c for $10/month more we can get a cable modem or dsl.
thanx Juno for forcing me to upgrade from
the 56k modem! Juno provide poor service
anyway, with frequent breakdowns, + frequent
disconnections. IMHO. david in san diego.

That's very poor on their part.
Unfortunately, many companies offer 'unlimited usage' then act all shocked and surprised when people actually use the service more.... well b****r me, who'd have thought?
It's happened in the UK to several companies offering unlimited access.
Yes, I have been fleeced by one of them.... <IMG SRC="http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/s/net/mad.gif" border=0>

I often have a nearly dedicated dial-up at home, but I've been lucky enough to not be charged any more than my flat unlimited rate. I do spread the load across two different ISP's (Charter Communications and MSN), but I know others with the same two ISP's that have been slapped with dedicated charges for less hours than I use on each.
capybara, I also appreciate your bringing this to my attention. I have refered friends and clients to Juno in the past for the low price, but I definitely will sending their business elsewhere in the future.
Thanks,
Robert Richmond
