Hello,
i was looking at these two boards and i was wondering which of has a better chipset or could be better for games.
I am not really sure what the really differences are except the
GA-7VRX cost A$169 and the

I just got the GA7VRXP. As far as I know the only difference is RAID.

GA7VRX- no raid
GA7VRXP-raid

And I only paid 129.00 for mine.............................

I paid $136 for my 7VRXP about three months ago... if you pay $229 for it, you're being ripped horribly.

As you can see he lives in Australia since he wrote A$229 I think he meant AU$229.

The 7VRXP has integrated Realtek 10/100 Ethernet and integrated Promise 133 RAID. Both boards have onboard sound, and it's really crappy on both boards. I use an Audigy card in mine. The deciding factor is if you need onboard RAID or not. I use the ethernet, don't notice any difference between it and my NICs.
