webpage scripts

i have a problem adding any sort of java script to my page.
drop down menus, guest books, forums, etc.

whenever i try to insert these scripts my page goes completely blank in the preview page.

i use Namo Web Editor 5.

Hi.
I don't know anything about this editor, but you have answered your question yourself.

The "preview" pane in most editors isn't a fully featured web browser hence doesn't run javascript/java scripts. I would suggest you save the page, and then open it in IE5.5 SP2 or IE6 (I personally don't like Netscape but each to their own).
If you are still having problems, you are going to have to get your hands dirty by looking at the HTML and javascript rather than through the WYSIWYG editor. Get back to me here if you need help.
